Pune: A shocking incident has come to light in Pune, where a depot manager of the Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) allegedly demanded physical favors from a female conductor. The victim, who was subjected to harassment by the depot manager and two other employees, attempted to take her own life by pouring petrol on herself in the manager’s office.

According to reports, the depot manager, Sanjay Kusalkar, had been harassing the female conductor for several years. He would assign her difficult duties, give her late shifts, and even stalk her, demanding physical favors in return for easing her workload.

The victim had filed complaints with the Bhand Garden police station and the women’s commission, but no action was taken against Kusalkar. Instead, he suspended the female conductor after she complained about his behavior.

The incident has sparked outrage, with many demanding action against Kusalkar and the PMPML administration. The police have registered a case against Kusalkar and two other employees, Sunil Bhalekar and Sudhir Rathod, who allegedly helped him harass the victim.
